Cleveland’s Great Lakes Brewing Co. has just announced the details of their 18th Burning River Fest for 2019.
The two day festival is held at Cleveland’s historic former United States Coast Guard Station (located near Wendy Park in Cleveland Metroparks Lakefront Reservation) on June 21st and 22nd.
Two music stages will feature a diverse lineup of artists, such as indie rock act Cloud Nothings, hip-hip duo Fresh Produce, rock musician Arlie, and alt-country singer Angela Perley. Rotating DJs like DJ Red I, Candi Fresca, and DJ MIMO will spin sets at the indoor Silent Disco.
There will be plenty of beer on hand, of course. Along with Turntable Pils and other Great Lakes Brewing mainstays will be the new Great Lakes IPA, small batch Mexican Lager with Lime, and Burning River Fest exclusive beer Citrus Burning River Pale Ale.
The festival date corresponds to the 50th anniversary of the historic Cuyahoga River fire that motivated a new movement of protecting our waterways from rampant pollution. As always, all proceeds from the festival sales goes towards the Burning River Foundation, a local non-profit that protects freshwater resources.
