Sure, you could see the newest film adaptation of Stephen King’s Pet Sematary, starring humans Jason Clarke, Amy Seimetz and John Lithgow. It’s juuust tipping into the “fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes with critics, at 67%, and eking into “rotten” territory for audiences, with 47%.
But why should you plunk down your hard earned money to watch the movie, when you can see the film’s true star, Tonic the cat, pose on the premiere’s red carpet for free?
In case it’s not clear that these photos will clearly surpass anything the movie can deliver, we’d like to point out the cat is wearing a tiny tie.
Tonic, one of five cats to portray the role of Church, the film’s central feline role, posed at the Hollywood premiere with cast members and fans alike. We cannot stress hard enough that Tonic was wearing a tie in the style normally worn by a full-gown human, but a small version.
Tonic’s Instagram account, which will doubtless have more followers than you by the end of the week, is posting a visual account of his newfound stardom and press tours.
No word yet on the reaction of Captain Marvel’s Goose the Cat on whether this look was stealing his thunder.
The only thing we know for sure is that more red carpets need animals in small fashion accessories, like they think they’re people or something.
