Northeast Ohio fall festival guide: Keep safe and have fun this season

Fall brings crisp air, the beauty of changing leaves, and a lot of seasonal fun, from family-friendly to romantic date possibilities. Here are a few of the great events that you can take advantage of this season.

This year, like everything else in 2020, things are running a little differently. We've included all the information available about how each location is taking precautions against the spread of COVID-19.

Pumpkin Festival at Red Wagon Farm

Lake Metroparks Halloween Drive-Thru

Fall Fun:

  • The Halloween Drive-thru event will allow visitors to drive Farmpark’s trails and roadways after dark, experiencing the many playfully frightful sites throughout the park that visitors have come to expect from this event.

Distance from Downtown Cleveland: 34 min; Southeast

Admission: $27.50 per carload. (maximum 3 tickets per household) Lake County residents & Farmpark members sales begin September 26 at 8 am. Out-of-county customers sales begin September 27 at 8 am. Tickets will be sold online only.

When: Starting Oct 9, the Drive-Thru will run Thursday – Sunday until Nov 1. Start times will be 6:30, 7, 7:30, 8 and 8:30 pm.

Spooky Pooch Parade

Fall Fun:

    • The 2020 parade will be held virtually, with 12 lucky winners having their dogs highlighted in LakewoodAlive’s 2021 calendar, and one grand prize “Best In Show” winner being determined by public voting. (Photo contest taking place from September 8 to October 6)
