Get ready! Northeast Ohio ski resorts are making snow

Snowmaking operations have commenced at Northeast Ohio’s most popular ski resorts.

Boston Mills/Brandywine and Alpine Valley started making snow late Tuesday night, the earlier snowmaking efforts in recent history, according to resort officials.

“We are excited to begin snowmaking early this year,” General Manager Josh Boyd said. “We saw an opportunity and seized it. The snow guns will continue running 24-hours a say through Sunday.”
How excited?This excited.

The three ski destinations feature 29 total trails, two snow tubing parks, and more.

As of the publish date, an official opening date has not been set.
