Search for Fairy Doors at the Holden Arboretum this Summer

Located in Kirtland Ohio, the Holden Arboretum has hidden 30 Fairy Doors throughout their gardens to create a truly magical experience.

The over the next several weeks, the Holden Arboretum (9550 Sperry Rd, Kirtland) has several magical residents taking a temporary home in the gardens! From now until August 27th, Fairy Doors can be found throughout the grounds.

As a fun activity for kids and families, the arboretum team worked together with Northeast Ohio artists to create thirty handcrafted Fairy Doors, just waiting to be discovered by visitors. Little fairy enthusiasts can search for the fairies homes with the assistance of a printed map (received at the park entrance), or on the arboretum’s mobile phone app.

The exhibit features the work of seven local artists including: Tracey Gardner, Jane Baeslach & Coletta Baeslach Arian, Erin Canales, Bette & Robb Durr, Beth Lynne Gregerson, Amanda Nyx and Tammy Shella.

The exhibit is included with general admission to the Holden Arboretum. Admission cost is $15 for adults, $10 for children three to 12 years old and free for children 2 and under. The Arboretum is open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Advanced reservations are required and can be made online at holdenarb.org or by calling 440.946.4400.
