Is it never really the Christmas season until you’ve had your first viewing of the movie Elf? Now you take your love of the 2003 classic to the next level by staying in a Elf hotel suite.
From December 2nd until the 26th at the Club Wyndham Midtown 45 in New York City, you can live just like the ever-cheerful Buddy the Elf. The suite is filled with hundreds of paper snowflakes, popcorn and paper garlands hung from the ceiling. Christmas trees, wrapped presents and twinkling lights fill the bedroom.
In the kitchen, ribbons cover the cabinets and a full-size fridge is stocked with elves’ four essential food groups – candy, candy canes, candy corn and maple syrup. If that’s not enough sugar for you, there’s also marshmallows, chocolate sauce, Pop-Tarts, rolls of cookie dough, M&Ms and liters of soda. Oh, there’s spaghetti as well, if you want to brave re-creating Buddy’s Maple Syrup Spaghetti for yourself.
Also on hand will be Lite-Brites, Etch-A-Sketches, Legos and toy trains for you to play with, no matter what age you are. Elsewhere in the hotel, guests can engage seasonal activities including cupcake decorating, a hot cocoa bar, ugly sweater contest and more.
Rates for the suite will start at $399 per night, and includes complimentary admission for up to four people to the Empire State Building and tickets to the Rockefeller Center ice skating rink. You can learn more about the Elf hotel suite at the Wyndham hotel site.
