Meet Sunglasses Cat (and every other kind of cat) at the International Cat Show

The IX-Center is home to car shows, boat shows, garden shows…even a yearly amusement park. Now the convention center is getting ready to house over 1,000 cats.

The Cat Fanciers International Cat Show, to be held on October 12th and 13th, will feature performances, adoptions, shopping, contests, educational workshops and crafts – all focused around furry felines.

The main event is the cat competition, where felines will compete in sixteen(!) rings to determine who is top cat.  If watching breeds square off doesn’t do it for you, see cats somehow agree to perform for your entertainment with the Savitsky Cat’s circus acts. If you haven’t seen the cats perform on America’s Got Talent, then check out their skills now:

The Savitsky’s won’t be the only viral cat stars in attendance. Sunglass Cat, Sauerkraut Kitty, Der the cat and Farrah Pawcett are all scheduled to appear. They will be happy to talk to fans about their careers.

If seeing all these cute cats in one place inspires you to adopt a cat of your very own, you’ll be in luck: there will be ten of the top animal shelters in Ohio present. They’re predicting that the two-day event will help over a hundred cats find a loving home.
