Here’s a look at what’s hot in the Cleveland area this weekend: July 30 – Aug 1

Great Lakes Medieval Faire & Marketplace – If the phrase “Good morrow! Would ye like to sample my wares?” appeals to you, check out the Great Lakes Medieval Faire & Marketplace. In-character performers, from kings and queens to serfs and sots will wonder the grounds, as well as demonstrations of jousting, Highland games and craftwork. Plenty of musical performers and food will be available, and acts run throughout the day. Open Saturday and Sunday until August 15th, each weekend has a theme, with this week’s being “Pirate Week”! Located at 3033 OH-534, Rock Creek, tickets are $25 for a single-day adult, and $5 for kids 12 and under. Multi-day passes are available, and can be found at the Medieval Faire website.

Grand Slam Beer Fest – Baseball & Brews! Fat Head Brewery presents Cleveland Beerfest at Progressive Field in partnership with the Cleveland Guardians! Enjoy hundreds of craft beers while walking the concourses. Food, cocktails, and things other than beer will be available! It’s all happening this Saturday from 1-11pm at Progressive Field. Tickets are now officially sold out (yes, even the designated driver tickets!) but you can find resale tickets at this official website.
