Cleveland’s annual Winterfest brought thousands to downtown Cleveland Saturday, Nov. 24, but the lights will be on display at least through New Year’s Day.

There are a reported half a million lights on display in the green in front of the Strongsville Police Department. Crews started working in September to get everything up in time for Santa’s arrival mid-November.

Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, Akron

It only takes a million lights to decorate the former residence of F.A. Seiberling, co-founder of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. The grounds include one of the largest private homes in the U.S., a choreographed light display and a conservatory with a massive poinsettia tree.

The historic Brecksville Public Square is charming and easy to get to, located at the intersection of E. Royalton Road and Brecksville Road visitors can park on the west side of the square and walk the park.
