Akron Pizza Fest: Because there’s no such thing as too much pizza

Pizza: even if people can’t agree on what to get on it, people can agree that pizza, as a thing, is great.

In that spirit, Akron Pizza Fest kicks off the weekend of September 3rd, with pizza, food besides pizza, games and music. Twelve pizza vendors will be squaring off for your mouth’s favorite, along with other food and drink vendors. There will be cornhole, four square volleyball, and “giant” beer pong will be available free for play.

If you want to go away very full (and with bragging rights), you can register for the pizza eating contest on Saturday the 14th. The contest starts at 6:30 pm, and is $15 to enter. The admission fee goes to the Akron Children’s Museum, and does not include admission to the festival grounds.

Akron Pizza Fest is held at Lock 3
Admission is $5 for Adults (18 and over), $2 for Tweeners (ages 13 to 17), and$2 for college students with a college ID. Children 12 and under are FREE!
