Cleveland Monsters Home Game – Cheer on Cleveland’s hockey team in the first week of their 14th season in the AHL against the Grand Rapids Griffins. The season starts Friday, Apr 9 at 7:00pm at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Tickets range between $10 and $45. This is a special “Ice Cold Friday” promotional night, which means Pepsi, Diet Pepsi and Mountain Dew is only $1.

Cleveland Wedding Show – Ohio’s largest wedding show begins this weekend, April 10 & 11 from 11am – 4pm at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland. View the latest trends in reception tables, décor, cakes, photography, and fashion from over 100 of NorthEast Ohio’s biggest vendors. The event is $15 if you buy tickets in person, and $10 per ticket if you purchase online. Admission covers all access to dealers and displays.

Melt Bar and Grilled “Challenge Cage Match”Semi-Pro UFC fighter Jerald Spohn and two other fighters will take on the Melt Challenge: Their monster 5-pound grilled cheese featuring 13 different cheeses, 3 slices of grilled bread, and a pile of hand-cut fries & slaw, alongside three brave members of the “Melt Bar and Grilled Tattoo Family” at the Independence Melt Bar and Grilled location (6700 Rockside Road, Independence) on Sunday, April 11th at 4pm. Jerald and the other contenders will have 30 minutes to complete the Melt Challenge or tap out after eating as much as they can.
