Here’s your highlight list for some great things to do in the Cleveland area this weekend, Sept 10 – 12 2021.
Cleveland Pinball and Arcade Show – The Cleveland Pinball and Arcade Show will be four days of pinball machines, arcade games, toys, and all things classic gaming! All of the games present will be set on FREE PLAY for the weekend. There will be 100 pinball machines and 30+ classic arcade games for you to enjoy with your paid admission. The show runs from Thursday until Sunday at the Holiday Inn Cleveland South at 6001 Rockside Road, Independence. Hours and admission are Thurs 5pm-midnight for $20, Fri-Sat 10am-midnight for $25 per day, and Sunday 9am-6pm for $20. Admission to all days is $80. More tickets and info available here.
Fresh Fest CLE – A full day of performances, art installations, health and wellness activities, farmer’s market, chef tastings, local vendors, hands-on activities, workshops, and a kids zone filled with fun for the whole family! Special guest, DJ Spinderella headlines Fresh Fest 2021, with live music from Kyle Kidd, Gumbo Dance Party, Chelsea Pastel, Sammy DeLeon Latin Jazz Group, Red Rose Panic, and Jah Messengers. The event runs from Noon-9pm on Saturday the 11th at 8129 Otter Road, Cleveland. The event is free of charge. Waterloo Arts Fest – A day of listening to live music, shopping local, seeing gallery exhibits and making art. This year’s Waterloo Arts Fest will be a little more relaxed and programming will be spaced out to allow folks to engage with others at whatever level they feel comfortable. There will be 5 outdoor stages, vendors, street performers and activities. Saturday the 11th from Noon to 7pm, in the Waterloo art & entertainment district. The event is free to the public. Skunkfest – Calling all skunk owners to Skunkfest 2021, although you do not have to be a skunk owner to attend! Meet skunks and skunk owners, along with rescue groups with their animals. There will be games, raffles, vendors, speakers, a skunk show, skunk contests, and a skunk costume contest. The event admission is open to the attendee: cash donations, paper towels, natural grain cereal, or anything that can benefit the skunks will be accepted. More details on the FAQ page.
Tri-C Jazz Fest – A return to the 42nd Annual Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland, will take place September 11 and 12 at Cain Park in Cleveland Heights. Nearly 500 artists perform indoors and outdoors playing jazz and other genres. Indoor concerts are ticketed and feature world-class musicians in Playhouse Square’s historic theaters. Performers include Catherine Russell, Lakecia Benjamin, and the Spanish Harlem Orchestra. All outdoor entertainment is free. Reserved passes are tiered, available for $50, $65, $75 and $100. Woofstock – Woofstock is Northeast Ohio’s biggest outdoor dog and family friendly festival and fundraiser. Thousands of people and pups will attend at the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field (3841 Chagrin River Road, Chagrin) for this outdoor party that will benefit the homeless animals at Rescue Village. There will be vendors, food, and a full beer garden.
