Bring your kids to Summer Splash in Cleveland's Public Square to play, learn and explore the city.
Feeling the heat this Summer? Do you have kids who meet your pleas to “Go play outside” with “It’s too hot out”? Sounds like you need to stop by Summer Splash, presented by the Cleveland Foundation, in the heart of Public Square: you can get free mini-water park vacation where kids can cool down and play.
Everyday, now until August 31st, Public Square is transformed every day into a fun fountain play area from 11 am until 4 pm. All activities are completely free of charge.
Kids can get out of the house, get active, and play over twenty different activities under the Terminal Tower. From backyard games to sidewalk chalk to pop-up storytimes, there’s something to keep the fun going all day. Local musicians perform daily at noon in the Square Sounds tent, singing family-friendly songs. You can even get a free lunch, courtesy of the Cleveland Department of Recreation. Just sign up at the lunch table located near the fountains, and you’ll receive a free box lunch containing a sandwich, snack, milk and fruit.
All that’s required of parents is to stay with their children during the visit. It’s a great place to make memories, meet new people and explore our great city.
